We’ve ensured that the rigid wall yurts meet building codes for energy and structural loads, with fewer inspections required by your local county department (3-4 estimated vs. 14-15) getting you to your end goal with less cost and waiting. We provide a worksheet to help navigate the big picture costs and steps required to permit a home, making the permitting process more straightforward, faster, and more affordable to permit than a stick-built home. Permitting the structure opens the doors to construction and mortgage loans. Increase the value on your property when permitting as primary or secondary ADU home with minimal iinfrastructure cost. Durability and Insulation
Rigid walls provide a more dynamic structure - curved stud wall panels paired with an enhanced rigid foam insulation experience. An additional mylar layer enveloping the entire structure as well as double paned glass doors and windows meet Title 24 CA Energy code and IFC wind and snow load ratings. The standard kit includes the extra durable, Duro-Last roofing membrane (15 year warranty and 25-30 lifespan). The Rigid Wall Yurt provides all of this while remaining a structure that is easy to install and ready for the long haul. You can even upgrade to a metal roof or opt for a standard stick built home siding for your exterior sheathing.

Rigid wall yurts can be lived in full-time, making them perfect for those who want an affordable, easy to build housing solution to add to their new land purchase. From our 200 sq/ft - 16' model, perfect for a nightly rental or office space to the spacious 767 sq/ft - 32’ model, there are sizes to suit any budget and vision. Adding a loft to a 32' can bring the total living space up to 1,200 sq/ft. They can even be combined to create a modular, unlimited, floor plan. There’s a rigid wall yurt to fit every lifestyle. The 16' and 20' comes with prefabricated platforms if desired, creating a full package kit, simplifying the set up process from the ground up.
